Artist Biography
Born in Lichtenburg in 1988, Dorothea Nortje 's artistic journey began in Bronkhorstspruit. With artistic talent evident from a young age, Nortje pursued her passion for art, earning a diploma in Fine Arts from Tshwane University of Technology in 2010. Collaborating with renowned artist Lionel Smit and working from her home studio, Nortje is swiftly gaining recognition as an emerging artist, capturing the essence of unity and harmony in her sculptures.
